Bank site allows autofill for username but does not allow autofill or manual fill for password. Access to the site worked fine 3 weeks ago. Autofill works with MS Edge.

Over the past few updates, I’ve noticed an issue with Firefox where it no longer restores my previous session when reopening the browser.

I normally keep four tabs pinned and about five additional tabs open for browsing and work. In the past, I could simply click the X to close Firefox, and when I reopened it, all my tabs that are pinned and unpinned would automatically come back. Recently, this stopped happening. Now, if I close Firefox, it opens with a fresh window instead of restoring my previous tabs.

I’ve already checked the setting under General/Startup, and Open previous windows and tabs is enabled. Because of this issue, I avoid closing Firefox entirely, since rebuilding all my tabs each time has become a hassle.

Is there a way to fix this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, I tried to drag and move a tab (worked everytime till now). After I tried to move it toolbar freezed (The image is what I mean by toolbar). Url bar, forward, backward, refresh and 3 lines for settings doesnt work. Only things that works is downloads and side bar. I can also click on tabs and they will open, but moving them wont work. Drag and move options is True.

When I try to quit and reopen firefox, everything works fine until I try to move a tab again. I tried editing the tool bar and default toolbar settings, that wont work either.

My bookmarks have disappeared. The solutions do not seem to work. It may be due to Avast Secure Browser trying to take over. Will they come back if I uninstall that?

I have Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon in Swedish language/locale. I set up two users with Firefox 146. Then, I upgraded Firefox to 147.0, and set up a third user on the same machine.

For the two original users, the Firefox is in all-Swedish locale. Perfect. But, for my newly created user, some is in English. Examples in English; Onboarding, Search in Privacy, and New Tab/Shortcuts. Web pages is no problem. The problem is in Firefox proper.

Strangely, New Tab is in Swedish (Ny flik), if I do not use the shortcuts, i.e. chose Empty new page in Settings. How to fix? Minor annoyance, but I would like everything in Swedish, as in v. 146. Is it a bug that will be fixed by Mozilla, or do I have to do anything to fix it myself, or is it un-fixable? Or, is it maybe anything in Linux? I understand it is some changes between 146 and 147 regarding a couple of rather important things. Thanks. >>> System:

Hi, I’m facing an issue with Mozilla Firefox where some websites load very slowly, and sometimes pages don’t open completely or show loading forever.

I’ve already tried restarting the browser and checking my internet connection, but the problem still happens randomly. Other browsers seem to work fine on the same network.

Can anyone guide me on what could be causing this issue? Are there any Firefox settings, cache options, or add-ons I should check to fix this problem?

My Firefox Labs tab disappeared after the update. Instructions online point me towards enabling studies to access it again, yet my box for Studies was also greyed out. Which conflict setting could be the cause here?

I have been using Firefox with Dragon Naturally Speaking Professional 16.1 since 2022. Never had a problem with dictating into any boxes or search bars before today. Now I cannot dictate into those and I need to. I am a quadriplegic and ventilator dependent and need to use Firefox and be able to dictate into it. Can someone tell me what to do to get that to work again?

I've been using Firefox on Linux since it was Nautilus. Currently running EasyOS Linux Daedalus and Excalibur on different Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny Core i3-8100t boxes and different drives: A good Samsung SSD and two good flashdrives. 32G new RAM installed on each box. I've been using these boxes for over a year. For the last month or so, ever since updating to v. 146 my tabs have been crashing like crazy! I don't normally have more than 10 tabs open at once. But now, as soon as I open a 5th tab it crashes.

I'm running Top to watch CPU and RAM usage. I see nothing unusual. I've rebooted. Disabled all add-ons and run in Troubleshoot mode. Tabs still crash. My only add-ons are uBlock Origin, Temporary Containers and Dark Mode. It happens whether I have hardware acceleration turned on or off. I don't know what else to try. windows 10 laptop output speakers are garbled like there is too much bass. Is there a setting in Firefox? My videos and posts from Facebook played clearly until I played a Facebook video of a guitar player and it was very, very heavy on the bass sound. Afterwards, my speaker output became garbled and not understandable. It's like there is too much bass now. I deleted and restarted so the Device reinstalled. Did nothing for the Sound. I tried right clicking on the speaker icon and did all the adjustments and reset to Microsoft suggested settings. Any other suggestions? Is there a special setting in Firefox to clear the voice and music coming out of speakers. This happened once before and cleared itself, It is happening again, but not clear now.

When I try to visit a specific journal site that requires authentication, the browser automatically redirects me to an authentication page that I have used before. This is very annoying because every time I click a link to the journal, I’m sent to the other portal and can’t access the article. I want to stress that I haven’t installed any add‑on that would cause this redirection. I think I did that myself manually but I have no idea how. I’ve already deleted the cookies for both sites, but nothing has changed. I hope that makes sense, it’s a bit difficult to explain.

I'm using firefox 147.0, on mac Tahoe 26.2.

Description: Multiple prior failed attempts. Clean setup, issue persists.

Android: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (SM-X200), Firefox 147.0.2 (~1500 bookmarks) - Old account deleted, cache cleared, restart. New account + Sync enabled.

Windows 11: Huawei MateBook D15, Firefox 147.0.2 - Old profile/account removed. Same new account + Sync enabled. - 30+ min wait: NO SYNC. Logs clean, Places DB verified OK.

Suspected: Android bookmarks not uploading to Sync servers. Questions: - How to verify/force upload from Android to Mozilla servers? - Tools to export/backup Android Firefox bookmarks (no HTML export)?

Although I remain logged in to sites and cookies show in DevTools, the cookies list in settings>privacy>Cookies_and_Site_Data>manage_data shows as empty, no cookies listed.

In troubleshoot mode, the same blank list. I haven't changed any settings. network.cookie.cookieBehavior is set to 1 I'm on windows 10 Home 22H2

The update to 147.0.1 seems to have caused it. Please advise.
