I am finding more and more that i have to go to Chrome to fill out forms. When there are check boxes on a website like the League of Women Voters to renew membership i find i can not click the box when using firefox. has something changed across the web or is there a privacy setting i can disable temporarily or ... something else? i really try to avoid Chrome but it seems that is the one browser that works consistently. And now i try to click the box at the bottom of this page to get email answers and it doesn't work. wow.,

Hi,Sorry to post this again,But I have spent over 4 hours trying every thing I can to correct it Since the last update,It totally Changed all my settings I managed to correct them,all BUT one & even though I have tried & Tried,I cannot remove SEARCH BAR on Toolbar Menu I have Been Through all Firefox Settings But Nothing Works & I have even removed all extensions,but NOTHING WORKS It was never on it before until the Update & it is a total Nuisance plesaea assist Thank you Darryl

Vertical tabs are a good idea. However to make a transition smoother special for those, like me, that have been using horizontal tabs for a life time (I was a Netscape user), can I suggest that the new tabs come on top instead of on bottom?

I could write a long motivation for that, user trend, psychological, etc, but I am sure you got the point.

i had two different firefox browsers yesterday. I deleted one but all my passwords are gone from the other browser. When the firefox browser got uninstalled it created a backup on my desktop called bookmarksback up. how can i move that file into this new firefox and how can I retrieve those passwords?

I open the sidebar, search for something, and then minimize it. When I focus back on the page and return to the sidebar again, my last query is gone and a new page screen appears. I want to continue from where I left off, just like in Opera. This also causes issues in other applications. For example, when we add WhatsApp to the sidebar and open it, we have to wait for WhatsApp to reload every single time. Without these features, there is no point in using the sidebar.

I am no longer able to open in Mac Preview or save when hitting Command + P, then 'print using system dialog'. It will only print instead. For instance, I save certain web pages as PDFs using the print dialog and now it will only print when trying to use either the save or preview options. Command + P, print using system dialog, then I choose either save as PDF or open in Mac Preview, but as soon as I do one of these it will only print. I am able to use save in the drop-down list of printers, but I need to be able to open in Mac Preview.

We have an asp.net Blazor SPA (server side Blazor) that dynamically generates components within the page. Over time, there is a very large RAM leak under document-shared that climbs until the windows are closed.

We have tried various firefox configurations to try and either disable this shared storage as well as limit but with no luck. THe memory allocation is in GB of RAM space and cannot be limited or reduced until the window itself is closed/restarted.

Research online indicates this can happen due to colocated stylesheets and how firefox wants to cache styles aggressively. Adjustments to move stylesheets does not appear to help.

What configurations can I use to help prevent/reduce this high RAM usage? This does not occur in Chrome or Edge, I cannot replicate this well under FireFox for Windows.

I'am testing a GPO to deploy the Lockself extension on windows 11 for Firefox 152, the JSON used in the GPO setting is the following :

And i have enabled an another setting to prevent the extension to be disabled or uninstalled by specifing the ID of the extension : ca613ee6-4211-4ae2-aa3c-d29608461d11

The policies are visibles under about:policies and they don't show any error.

The issue is that i'am still able to disable Lockself but going in Firefox parameters then under password and autofill. On the image attached, the button "Desactivate the extension" is here and you can use it, it disable the extension.

I have a few problems at my house and am trying to send photos of my garden gate which is not working. I cannot upload these photos as I get a message "Vous n’avez pas les droits nécessaires pour téléverser ce type de fichier" which I've translated to "You do not have the necessary permissions to upload this type of file.

I am using Windows 11 (this is nothing to do with Onedrive as far as I am aware).

This is a recent problem. How can I sort it please? The photos are on my Desktop as they are easier to find here.

My browser started crashing after the latest update, and it still crashes even in Safe Mode. It doesn’t close immediately upon opening; instead, it shuts down suddenly after about one minute or longer. This issue never occurred before and only started appearing after the recent update. Hi, I'm using Firefox on Desktop and Mobile. For last couple of months, I've been experiencing a problem of Shopify stores loading. When we open any Shopity website (stores specifically), it never loads. Sometimes it shows blank page and sometimes nothing.

At the same time, those sites are working fine in other browsers e.g. Chrome, Safari.

However, when I switch to other wifi network (jazz.com.pk), then it works on Firefox too. I tried different methods to fix it, but no success. Before the websites were sometime opening, but for lost few days, 0 response.

Not sure, where is this issue, I contacted my network support (nayatel.com), they also unable to figure it out.

I tried everything on my end, but no success. Need your help.

Can the quantity of tabs ever get so large that finally one more tab wont open? What are the max count of tabs recommended, and when should they be removed to start over?

I may have a problem with the new Firefox version 152: from my online application, I send a command string to a local printer reachable at https://192.168.1.xxx. It often succeeds, but sometimes it gets blocked. I don't understand what the problem might be because I don't get any error messages. The only thing I see that's different from the usual is this:

It seems that Firefox sometimes waits before sending the XHR call, which causes the call to time out. I have no evidence to confirm this. I don't know where to look for evidence. What can I do?

When will the drag-and-drop link-to-open-new-tab feature be restored? Previous versions had this feature, which was very convenient, especially when wanting to open multiple tabs at once. Now it can only be done through the right-click menu, which is very user-unfriendly. I raised this issue a long time ago and never received a response. I hope this feature can be restored as soon as possible; otherwise, I will switch to Chrome.
