How to stop Thunderbird from attempting to download certificates from the directory

Hi

We using Thunderbird with S/MIME in order to sign email and an LDAP directory access. When we do a reply all, Thunderbird try to download recipients certificates.

It's very long and useless for us ;) (it takes more than 1 minute to the popup to disappear, or we have to click on stop searching multiple times, one for recipient)

Is there anyway to deactivate this feature ? The only way is to disable LDAP, but we need LDAP.
