Access your open tabs
- Open Firefox on your Android device.
- Tap the tab icon (square with a number) in the toolbar at the bottom or top of the screen (depending on your settings).
- Your currently open tabs will appear here.
If you don’t have any open tabs, Firefox will prompt you to open one.
If you already have open tabs, they will show up here.
Switch between regular, private, and synced tabs
Firefox organizes tabs into different categories:
Regular tabs
These are your normal browsing tabs.
Private tabs
- Tap Private at the top of the tab view.
- Use private tabs when you don’t want Firefox to save your browsing history or cookies.
Private browsing sessions are not saved when you close the app.
Synced tabs
- Tap Sync to view tabs open on other devices connected to your Firefox account.
- If you're not signed in, Firefox will prompt you to log in.
