Cannot load outlook mail on firefox
For the past few days I’m unable to login to my Microsoft outlook hotmail. Whenever logging in I would get the message “something went wrong” with “click to refresh”. I’ve tried refreshing the page multiple times, clearing all cookies, restart my old lab top. Still, the same something went wrong messages. Please assist. Thank you.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.
- How to clear the Firefox cache {web link}
You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
Tried that, still didn’t work.
I tried restarting in safe mode as suggested and I’m still getting the same message.
I'm in Hotmail / Outlook daily with no issues. Can you show us the issue and block your personal info. see screenshot What OS? What version of Firefox?

I tried uploading a picture but the file is too large. The version of Firefox that I have is the 52.9.0 (32-bits), currently on the esr update channel.
What operating system? Is there a reason for the old version of Firefox?
I have window vista, therefore Firefox has ended support and updates for the operating system.
Try downloading a current copy of Firefox, run it and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

Note: If you have problems when uploading the image to this forum, you can use imgur. com or a similar image host if the image appears to hang on upload, then add a link to the image. However, this may delay a response if the external link needs review by a moderator.
I have window Vista. It is currently not listed under the Firefox system requirements for version 99.0.1. The latest version which I can download is the 52.9.0.
You can't do this? see screenshot

The Windows Vista/XP platform is no longer supported, so you can no longer update Firefox beyond Firefox 52.9.0. Current Firefox releases require Windows 7 and newer. Users on Windows XP and Vista have been moved to the Firefox 52 ESR release.
It is possible that Outlook no longer works with Firefox 52 as that version is quite old.
I'm curious to see what happens when you try to install a newer version on old OS. Let me boot up XP and see what happens.

I could get into my Hotmail account with the old Firefox. see screenshot XP feels good, but slow. I would dual boot Linux.

I was able to get into my hotmail outlook account a few days ago until it stopped working.
You will need to show us what is not working. Make sure to upload smaller screenshots.

It would not run.
Firefox 52.0 and later Release will not run on Windows XP and Vista as the minimum since has been Windows 7.
Firefox 52 ESR was an exception as 52.9.0esr was the last as mentioned times already. Also has to be 32-bit as 64-bit will not work.

Besides updating to Windows 7 or newer, dual booting with a light 32-bit Linux distro would be an option.
