When opening Firefox today for the first time since last using, updates were automatically installed but crashed during the process. I can get to the firefox "start" page, but nothing will connect from any bookmark/link/manual entry. I sent in a crash report, and have the text for that, but I can't seem to do anything with it. I am using Chrome, that is obviously working. I am unable to automatically add the "Troubleshooting Information" link below Not sure what version of FF is currently installed after this crash, it should be current as of yesterday

hi, can you please see if uninstalling firefox 44 first and then installing the 64bit version from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ does solve this issue for you?

Hi, thanks. Will I lose my bookmarks if I do this ?

Your personal data like bookmarks is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you won't lose personal data when you uninstall and (re)install or update Firefox, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.
