How do I save my open tabs while compacting my inbox? They all disappear after compacting. I am trying to move my open tabs over to a different folder to preserve them, but I can't figure out how to do it.

When I choose an open tab from my Inbox to move it to a different folder, the folder choices on the left side of the interface go away. I there a way to move between folders? Drag /drop?

I use several browsers and when it comes to functionality I consider FFox to be the best however with 1 major drawback - it's speed / lag issues which is why I stopped using it as my primary browser and only as secondary one

I can have 2 different Chromium based browsers open simultaneously and while this impacts the performance somewhat if I open Firefox and another browser responsiveness grinds to a halt (sometimes even crashes)

Even just starting Firefox by itself takes 5x as long as other browsers

So I'm wondering is Firefox just more resource intensive or is there something wrong with my setup?

The main difference between my Firefox install and my other browsers is the number of Bookmarks (10000s) due to me having it installed for much longer so is it possible for a large number of Bookmarks to slow the browser down even when not open ?

Other possible causes I read elsewhere are 'Cookies and site data' (currently around 50mb)

I clear the 'Temporary cached files' & 'Browsing history' on regular basis so they shouldn't be an issue

The add-ons I have installed are NoScript , Ublock Origin & Firefox Color

In regards to troubleshooting is it possible to install a 2nd install on the same system simultaneously without overwriting the current one ?

Hello everyone. Google keeps telling me there is unusual traffic coming from my computer and requires captcha all the time. It only happens with Firefox and only when I launch a search from a blank tab, not from bookmarks. Environment : Firefox (last version) Windows 11 Family (updated), antivirus Bitdefender (support team does not detect any problem).

Please can anyone help me fix that ?

When I’m watching on private browsing and I put the phone on sideways there is this weird thing, and when you put it back on standup position my phone you can only watched on a small scale on the of the phone like on the search bar but when it’s on full screen

As of lasts night Youtube has stopped loading. After reading some support articles I reset my browser and turned off nearly every extension and setting I could find and got it to load once, but then it stopped again. Navigating to Youtube brings up a grid of squares (which I believe should be stills for videos). I turned the extensions back on and tried turning them off one by one but I'm unable to isolate on that's causing the issue. Similarly, I tried settings one by one, but cannot find one that resolves the issue. Using the one normal open Youtube window I have, I am able to open a video in a new tab, but there is no menu on the left, no links on top no comments, I can't even like a video.

Do I need Firefox 78.0.2 (x64) and Firefox ESR (x64)? Also I noticed I have noticed a very slow startup. I have an old Dell Vostro 460 PC. I also did a Task Manager and noticed five Firefox process. Can I shut some of these down?

Tabs of Gmail not working in Firefox Browser even after clearing history, cookies and the issue persist after logging out and re logging in. The issue doesn't happen in other browsers.

Have always set up accounts so they download all messages to hard drive.

Since 3/27/25, it is as if it never officially logs the downloads as downloaded, so it downloads each day as if it hasn't been done since 3/27/25, marking all of the messages since then as new.

File is very large so want to try fixing without deleting entire file.

Tried the 'repair this folder' but that didn't work.

Having trouble identifying the exact folder on the hard drive to delete since there are several different accounts in the Thunderbird setup.

I have an Arch Linux installation with Plasma desktop. Software is always kept up-to-date. Sometime recently, Mozilla apps, Firefox nor Thunderbird, will no longer print, neither to pdf nor to network printer. These always worked before. Now, if even "print preview" is invoked, the dialog opens as a blank sub window with only the word "Print" in upper right, and at left center is "Preparing Preview with rotating time delay wheel, which never resolves. All other apps, including other browsers and mail handlers, will print without issue. I've tried the obvious checks with no success. Where could be the problem? Is there a helper app shared by Firefox and Thunderbird that could be the issue? The only potential remedy I have not yet tried is complete removal of both Firefox and Thunderbird, as that would cause re-configuration issues for both. It's necessary to press <ESC> to terminate the print window when it fails to respond. Screenshot attached...

Dear Team After Updating from 102.15.1 (32Bit) to 115.28.0 (32Bit) I can not connect to the provider "pop.hispeed.ch" anymore. Ping pop.hispeed.ch (on CMD) shows normal raction of beeing reachable with a "reply from xxxx.". I am on Windows 7 SP1. I have checked several times all setting POP and SMTP, switched off Firewall, uninstalled virus scanner, and and and many more (all knowledge found on internet..). Pressing the "Get Message" button in the upper menue bar shows no raction when pressed. The icon "Get Message" on the left side of the button "+ New Message" results in a none moving blue status bar at the right bottom of the window. After a while with the message "timed out.. ".In the settings "Config Editor.." the values of "mailnews.tcptimeout" are set to "300", and "true". I am using TB since donkey years with many many eMails. Are the lost? When I go to the task bar and click on firefox the only thing that comes up is, top left corner it says new tab but nothing opens after that, just blank screen. I want to use firefox as my browser but if this continues I'll have to use a different browser.

I've noticed lately that I keep getting a pop up window asking to prove I'm human. Sometimes continually on the same site over and over in the same day, like when I'm browsing. This happens continuously on zillow.com, but it happens on several other web sites I frequent.

Is this something on my end?

YouTube videos show up as "video Unavailable".. I can see and talk in the Chat but the video OR Live Stream is shown as "video unavailable".. This only happens in FIREFOX which is my main browser. Now if I sign out, I can watch the Live Stream OR video, but CAN NOT use the Chat, IF I am SIGNED IN, I CAN use chat BUT not see the video.

I am now using (which I hate using)Microsoft Edge to see the video and chat. I WOULD LIKE to be able to use FIREFOX again! Please Help

i can't watch a streaming movie without it stopping to buffer through out the whole movie . I never have a problem watch TV shows. It wont upload the stream long enough to keep playing . Can i increase the streaming a head so the movie doesn't stop playing till the end.
