Rookie move. I deleted a calendar (not realizing that by deleting the calendar, which I didn't use, I was deleting all of my tasks).

Is there a way to restore the calendar?

I was using MS outlook and recently I could not connect. Apparently ATT made a change so that instead of a password you need a Secure email Key. Since I needed to make a change I thought I'd try Thunderbird mail, but I still need the KEY. After a number of efforts with the ATT AI and human support people I could not find where the Key is entered on ATT. Now I know this forum is about Thunderbird and not ATT, but there must be Thunderbird users that have ATT and have made a seccussful connection. There are a few ATT help pages that outline how to do this, but each time I look at my ATT profile I can not find where to enter the Secure Mail Key. Is there anyone that can help me with this? I can't get messages from my Thunderbird account. When I click "Get messages" nothing happens and it usually says "Done" on the bottom left corner. I have to use my domain's webmail account to get my e-mail and it only allows me to read it and delete junk.

I really would love to have my Thunderbird account working again as soon as possible.

I have never deleted so many emails at one time, around 500. Did I exceed the limits of Thunderbird? I cannot log on. Cannot see new emails. I have been on emailsrvr.com and did verify my passwords. Thank You

After downloading and running installer (Thunderbird setup 148.0) from Thunderbird website, Thunderbird opened as usual, showing my three email accounts. The 2 accounts I use for almost everything are both Yahoo accounts (yahoo.co.uk and rocketmail.com). But.. neither of these accounts will work without a yahoo sign-in pop which is pre-filled with an account name (example graphic attachment : thunderbird01red.jpg). 1 example shown but the same thing happens for both yahoo accounts.

The 'Next' button, which I assume will ask for password, does nothing.

I have attempted login via webmail. I enter account name, am asked for password and Yahoo insists on sending me a verification code - to the other yahoo account (the yahoo.co.uk account), which I cannot access! I then attempt to login to the other account to access my pass code and the same thing happens in reverse, telling me that a verification code will be sent to the first account.

Via Thunderbird, which has for years done all this automatically behind the scenes, I can get absolutely nowhere. Via webmail, I am in an 'impossibility loop'. I have cleared cache for each account.

Why won't Thunderbird allow automatic account login, as has been the case since the year dot. These are the 2 accounts around which my entire life is ordered - can somebody please help.

Prior to TB 148, OAUTH worked for POP3 access to: Gmail, MS Outlook, and Yahoo.

After TB 148 upgrade: OAUTH to Yahoo fails, subsequent log-in page also fails. Both OAUTH to Gmail and OAUTH to MS Outlook still work fine.

Rolled-back/Reverted to TB 147.0.2 -- OAUTH to all works fine, as it did previously.

Note: YahooMail seems to have other problems. But I was able to confirm successful OAUTH and POP3 to YahooMail after reversion to 147.0.2.

I am not receiving new email. What do I need to do to get it working again?

My email is on a MS exchange server, and I have installed Thunderbird using Owl. My Thunderbird email is my main email. A couple of weeks ago, it stopped working, I then reinstalled Thunderbird, but I had trouble configuring it on the exchange server (instead of POP3 or IMAP). I can receive my email but I always get an error when trying to send email Can anyone help me? I'm desparate. My IT person wants me to switch to Outlook (which works).. I do not wish to switch. Please help.

I have been using Thunderbird for ages now with no problem, but I suddenly realised that no recent emails were appearing from my Gmail account. I have tried everything suggested on line to resolve the problem, including uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird, and deleting and re-entering my acccount details but neither the IMAP or SMTP servers will connect to Gmail. I have reset all of the server settings on Thunderbird, and have checked that Gmail is IMAP compliant (which, apparently, is is now automatically). I have spent hours trying to sort this out and am just at the point of abandoning Thunderbird completely, but I am loathe to do so if there is a solution. The latest error message i have received is "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password" but I don't know what else I can check or change.

hi today thunderbird started showing yahoo popup login and after adding credentials i always get "something went wrong.We could not sign you in. Try again from a different device." Also popup once closed it opens instantly.

i can sign in normally from browser. thunderbird version is 147

is there any fix about this?

Very little to do with accounts, but none of the selectable topics cover 'user Interface'.

Used to be able to open different accounts in different windows. Can't remember how, but it was obvious. Once new window is created, each time Thunderbird is started it re-creates them. I accidentally closed one and can find no way to re-open it. I use three email accounts each needing a different mindset, so keeping them in different windows helps. Also one has a screendepth full of folders and so is easier to handle in its own window. (The others are still there but only take up one line each when collapsed.

This started last year and I found a fix on google but I can't remember it. It has noiw come back and is driving me nuts. About 2-5 minutes into composing an email thunderbird goes unresponsive and is greyed out. i have waited 30 mintues and nothing happens. It does not happen until after you type the first character into the new email. I have checked user rights on the thunderbird folder and my windows user folder and I have admnin rights on both If i shut Thunderbird the email appears in drafts when i restart, but only from a bit before it froze. I have reinstalled, compacted nothign is fixing it. Using 64 bit 140.3 on windows 11 home.Tried update to 140.3.1esr. no difference. Just about to give up and go to Outlook because I don't write trivial emails and this is a PITA

Thunderbird is what Outlook was striving to be. It looks like Outlook, but out performs every thing I have tried. and it Works!!!!!!!!!!!! Cudo's Love this product.............................................................

I tried importing my Outlook Classic address book. As you can see from the attachment, I really messed it up!. I am not technical at all, I wasn't sure if I needed to import my contacts or my address book. I think, but am not really sure, that I exported my .pst file, address book to a csv vile. Can anyone one straighten me out? If I have to start over, how do I delete the mess I created without loosing all of my other settings? Thank you very much 😊😊😊

I have downloaded Thunderbird from official Mozilla homepage. It seems to be installed correct. I got the icon and a question : should we start Thunderbird now. I answer yes. Then I get the message : Thunderbird is not found ? but I have just loaded it ? I am running windows 11 and I have got newest upgrade.

PS I also have a PC running Linux Mint. Loading Thunderbird here was no problem.

I receive enough junk mail without these solicitations; be decent and erase me from your list. I will appreciate that, instead to being irritated with the continuous pop-ups you are sending me.
