I use an external torrent app LibreTorrent. When I click on magnet links, FF133 faithfully opens the external app handler. However when I tap the OK button FF very often ignores my tapping. I can hit several times with no effect. I can see a quick circle showing as I tap, so the tap is generating an event, but FF does not react to it. This happens in normal and private mode. Sometimes after a couple or perhaps a dozen or more taps, the OK event has an effect and the external app launches fine.

A very curiously I accidentally noticed that if I tap or swipe the text also showing on the dialog box before tapping OK, the first tap on OK always works! 100% reliable. Something is fishy with event handling.

using uBlock Original & AdGuard AdBlocker on 22 Ultra with one UI 6.1, android v 14, security 11-1-24, it worked flawlessly until about 2 weeks ago. Updated everything, including extensions. removed & reinstalled, makes no difference. May as well go to iphone if i cant get it fixed now! Thanks

Hi. Recently when I use Wikipedia search box and click a search suggestion it just closes and I return to the current page. If instead of clicking a suggestion I finish entering the search phrase and hit enter the search works fine.

It's reproducible with many Wikipedia languages including English and in regular Firefox and in nightly and even in incognito and with all add-ons disabled. Chrome has no such issue.

For example go to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page and click the magnifier icon at the top right, enter some word e.g. "Barn", wait for suggestions and click the first one.

Is it able to fix the browser itself to support background player and allow the website to load and play infinitely in background?(The music only plays once and stops in replay mode in YT music) Also, I cannot see the controls in notifications unlike other chromium browsers.(The images sent is about this)

I had some dozen of anonymous tabs open (mostly images I wanted to download later on without the hosting site cluttering my history). I let Firefox run in background over some time and when I opened it again anonymous tabs were gone.

Close Tabs is set to manual. Battery usage is unrestricted.

On devices with a large screen, you should be able to use multiple browsers simultaneously using multiwindow. For Chrome, Edge, and Samsung Browsers, you can use more than one browser in MultiWindow. Firefox should also be able to use more than one browser.

Attached is an example of using 1 browser window on edge.

When using Firefox on Android for a while, attempting to use pinch to zoom on a web site will cause Android to crash, as in the screen will go black, the G logo animation will appear, and I'll be sent back to the lock screen. It's not just the app that crashes. It doesn't seem to be a full reboot as that takes longer and starts with a different animation, but some part of Android is restarting.

It's consistent but not predictable. Pinch to zoom will work on one site fine and then crash on the same site later. It seems to be a resource issue as it's unlikely to happen on a fresh instance and it becomes more likely the longer you've been using Firefox.

This has been happening for several months, since at least July. It's happened both on my old Pixel 6 Pro and my new Pixel 9 Pro. It's happened on both Android 14 and 15.

I eventually found out I could go to Settings > About Firefox > Crashes and get some debugging info, but I don't know what to do with it. I currently have 15 crashes between now and Oct 16th which all say:

Clicking Share to get more info on the latest one adds:

I don't know what to do with this info. Should I file a Bugzilla report with just this? The GUID associated with the most recent one is 7a5e5497-bb62-4e3c-94fc-5c63c51d0830. I can't look it up in crash-stats.mozilla.org. Or should I assume all crash reports are automatically received? I'd still like to be able to have a Bugzilla bug to watch for progress.

Why some websites aren't working properly with Firefox but does with others?

Here are two websites that I have issues with:

While browsing on various websites, as I scroll down, suddenly the on screen keyboard appears and the cursor is on the website's search bar. it is very annoying, and even if I click out of it, it goes back to the search bar and the keyboard pops up again.

This happens on two tablets that I own, both android, Galaxy Tabs of different ages.
