I am on arch linux, Wayland KDE Plasma. KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0 Qt Version: 6.10.2 Kernel Version: 6.19.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) I then ran firefox (Both Flatpak and Pacman fail ), and no matter what (MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND on or off) when in pointer lock, the high polling rate mouse was significantly slower than the lower polling rate touchpad. I have tried different mice with high polling rate, the result is the same. https://mdn.github.io/dom-examples/pointer-lock/

I would like to setup Firefox so it checks for updates and installs them during maintenance windows (overnight) and runs the updates as 'system' account. This is how Chrome and Edge handle updates.

I tried using the following GPO settings

Application Autoupdate Enabled Background updater Enabled Disable Firefox Studies Enabled Disable Telemetry Enabled Disable Update Disabled Don't Check Default Browser Enabled

This seems to create Schedule tasks in Windows task scheduler, but the tasks are running as previously logged on user accounts. which doesn't help us in this particular environment.

I know we can manually push out the latest version via creating new MCM application pushes but the amount of updates that are coming down is a labor intensive exercise and we don't have the budget for PatchMyPC

Please post any thoughts!

Takes up to 30 minutes to sign in to my online banking account. Sign in with user id and password, get a "swirlly" for a long time, little messages at the left bottom of screen, when the screen finally appears, the graphics display as place hold words which make no sense. Contacted AllegacyFCU and they say it's on your side . . . recommend Chrome? I'm running Win 11Pro. Edge goes right in.

When Firefox starts, there are all these supposed "news" stories, and almost all of them are left-wing extremist leaning, anti-American junk, Don't know who supplies or selects them, but is there any way to set it so it presents a more balanced (and truthful) array, or failing that, doesn't come up at all? Lately I can not click all of my browser tabs, only some of them unless I do not have the browser maximized on the screen. If I make is smaller then I can click all of the tabs. Since the recent Firefox update I can't find a hardware acceleration setting to toggle off to see if it helps.

I use tab groups to save work sessions so I can easily close and reopen them when I need them. I typically use the downward arrow to see all of my tab groups, however, when I opened my laptop today, there are only two tab groups there and no "show all" option. When I opened my laptop today, I did see that Firefox had been closed unexpectedly and the restore sessions option, which I used. The two tab groups I had open when I left my laptop opened again when I used restore sessions, but now those are the only two tab groups I seem to have. How can I get back all of my other tab groups?

Ok, so I dont use my computer that much, but anyway. I get on it today and this "create a profile" pops up. once I get in to firefox Everything is gone, my history, passwords, bookmarks, addons.

WTF happened???????

When I open a new tab, I have it set to the home page. When I go there, it adds the most visited sites, yes? ok. but...now when I go there, it has a bunch of sites past my pinned ones. When I dismiss one, all of them disappear except my pinned. A few minutes later, I open a new tab, and theres a bunch of new sites again, but I can only dismiss these one at a time, and they again disappear for some minutes, or a couple/few tab openings. Bug or feature? how do I fix it?

I would like to allow or block extension for certain site.

What i need is: 1) Turn on extension on specific sites (like for government) 2) Do not load extension on specific sites

So there should be Order Allow,Deny and reverse Order Deny,Allow And two rules Deny *://example.com/* Allow *://example.com/some/*

I have now downloaded Duckduck as my browser but I really want to have Mozilla's own browser, not a Microsoft-owned or Google browser. Every time I try to download the Mozilla browser I am told it has been interrupted - always when it is two-thirds of the way through the installation process. Why ?

Why do I today get the message "We have received an unusually large amount of requests from your IP so you have been rate limited" when I try and access https://www.trustpilot.com. I have not had it before today and do not get it when I use a different browser (Edge).

I have been annotating a student's pdf report online using PDF24. I started last night and continued this morning. Now PDF24 says there is no file. But the completed 5 page file is completely viewable in my Firefox browser. How can I save this as a PDF file? When I try to use the print tool in Firefox, only one page of the file is included and that is mixed up with the PDF24 toping and tailing. The student needs her commented report back.

My computer shut down. I turned it back on, and the browser was completely updated. Nothing! I'm panicking. There's not a single backup anywhere. there is no folder on the desktop «Old Firefox Data» I don't know what to do I tried to restore bookmarks, but the list only showed other browsers.
