Hi, I just started using Zorin 18 os and downloaded Firefox, signed in, but my bookmarks are not there. I've tried sync and that doesn't work. I've also tried the cmd prompt sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozzillateam/ppa and it says not found.

How can I disable the hidden tabs feature, my tabs are being hidden in the upside down arrow whenever I'm not using them, I don't want that to happen, how can I stop it?

It induced me to create a new profile. Then, I lost the old one. Who even knew about profiles? Firefox is now filling in passwords, among other serious setting changes I did not make. This is the worst experience I ever had with a browser. Firefox has been my steady for decades, always dependable and easy to manage. I think we broke up today.

I worked with a tech support team to update software on my computer. After the update they did a clean up on my computer today and I lost all of my firefox passwords. How can I recover these passwords?

Hello. I love my Firefox but the latest Version 148 has removed Ai from providing any information when I search for anything in the search bar. I have went to my settings and enabled Ai to work and everything below says available, but no matter what I try to look for, Ai just says its 'thinking'. Please help! Thank you.

I am running Firefox 148.0 and Thunderbird 148.0. I am in the process of moving everything to a new (to me) computer that will run Windows 11. When I start Firefox from the start menu or the taskbar everything runs as expected. I have the Adblock Plus extension plus several others running. If I click on a Hyperlink in a email in Thunderbird instead of opening in a new tab into the currently open copy of Firefox as it did on my old computer running Windows 10 it opens in a new window with no extensions. I am assuming that I have something set incorrectly. Any help as to where I should look to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have turned all search features off in settings and changed all relevant entries to False in About:config and it is still happening! Why did this change, I do not want this, I did not ask for this and I want it to be returned to how it worked before! NOW!

I have always been able to delete unwanted cookies from Firefox at any time by opening "Manage browsing data" (in Settings - Privacy & Security - Cookies and Site Data). It shows me all of the cookies by site, and I could always select which ones to remove.

(I have my Settings at "Custom" for Enhanced Tracking Protection, with some permitted exceptions in Manage Exceptions, but do not want to delete all cookies on closing the browser, as I need some to stay permanently e.g. bank and gov't web site cookies.)

Since I updated from the last 147 version (it was 147.0.4) to 148.0 in the last day or so, I can no longer do so -- but only in one of my two work computers. On the main one, I can open the "Manage browsing data" pop-up box, but it will NOT scroll down to show me any of the sites. I know there is data there -- the "Clear Browsing Data and Cookies" pop-up window shows I have 46.9 MB of cookies & site data -- but the "Manage browsing data" pop-up box will not let me see any sites, unlike before.

The Manage Exceptions pop-up box ("Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data") still allows me to scroll down and see the permitted web sites and their status (e.g. allow for session) but the "Manage browsing data" pop-up box will not do so.

I have re-booted my laptop several times since this problem started (I use Windows 10) but it persists.

I use Custom Settings for History, with none of the 4 boxes there checked.

On the other work computer, I upgraded it today from 147.0.4 to 148.0, but the above-noted problems are not happening. I can still see the individual cookies in the "Manage browsing data" pop-up box. To me their settings look identical, but who knows?

Any ideas or suggestions?

Unable to identify/locate the controls (Settings??) necessary to inhibit/deselect/delete un-commanded popups/assist/help boxes that cover over parts of the underlying informational/data dense page

I keep losing passwords on Microsoft and I depend on Mozilla. Is there a way I can print a copy of all my passwords to hold in a file myself in case everything goes wrong. I am 77 years old and a lot of this is just too advanced for me.

Since Firefox updated to version 148.0 it has broken my ability to download any extension and I get that Installation aborted message for any extension I try to download.

It also broke my ad blocker, ublock origin, when it updated to 148.0

Hello. I am having issues accessing my email account using the Firefox browser. I use Mail.com. When I go to Mail.com and try to login, I get a page with an error message, code, and request ID. The status code is 429. The message says too many requests and the request ID is aff3b7138f66aa8ba82f43c2af68621e. Does anyone know how to resolve this??? I will also reach out to Mail.com to see if they can help. Thanks!

This is more of a review, because it is impossible to get help from these forums, effective help (judging by the AI-based answers) And it is impossible to write a review or suggest an idea, since the site does not open, which is ideas. Maybe because I'm from Russia. About six months ago, very serious problems started with the browser. I have Windows 11, a completely modern computer, and Kaspersky anti-virus. And the problem arose like this, from time to time, the browser began to multiply images in the tab, i.e., a random part of the image in the browser appeared instead of another element. And gradually the whole tab turned out to be in the form of a puzzle. This was accompanied by an actual system freeze, treated by logging back into the Windows profile, or rebooting, in the worst case. Simply put, the browser began to produce completely incomprehensible errors. And if it didn't bother me too much at first, I logged back in and that's it, in recent weeks the error has started to occur even during active browser use (it usually started after half an hour of inactivity) In recent weeks, the puzzle in the tab has appeared quite insanely often. By the way, there are no messages on this topic on the Web at all. And it's impossible to take a screenshot of the error, as the system was barely working at the time. As a result, I just reinstalled the browser, once again losing a huge number of open tabs (there are, of course, more than a thousand in the log, but there is no option to Open them) The ways to save sessions from the forum do not work at all, the extension of the Tab session manager did not work

And the review, in fact, was once a beautiful Fox, now it's not even a competitor to chrome. Which allows you to save data and restore it without unnecessary problems. When I tried to log in to my account earlier today, I found that it was gone. I used my recovery key to create a new password and now lost all data, passwords etc. What do I do now? Why did this happen? I am not very computer literate but have tried all of the suggestions in your help forum and nothing works. Nothing has changed on my computer since my last login yesterday. Firefox is my home page and browser.
