Remove taboola every where do not allow a single thing through your browser from taboola. Or watch taboola swallow the existing users of your product. I'm done with taboola get rid of it or else I get rid of mozilla in the US there are laws that can be used. I am prepared

I use middle-click to close the tabs and move and select tabs around a lot and often misclick on a button by accident and I find that really annoying and tedious to always have to scrutinize the buttons before clicking.

I want to hide all of these buttons.

I have tried userchrome and etc... user scripts, that does not work reliably.

I woke up this morning and can't open a firefox window on my macbook to save my life. Not sure what happened at all as I was working on it but I need this resolved ASAP... I've done 2 fresh installs and have had no luck opening anything...

In 2023, when I had Firefox v110.0.1, an unfortunate hiccup caused my handful of windows and their many tabs to not appear when I restarted Firefox. I asked for help here and jscher2000 was lovely and walked me through some things to do, which are discussed in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1408206 and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1396868.

Unfortunately, though I now have Firefox v158.0, this happened again a few days ago and I've been trying to retrace his steps the best I can with the newer version, but to no avail, unfortunately, partly because I don't now see a sessionstore.jsonlz4 file that jscher2000 referenced back in 2023.

(As I remember it, a system upgrade was taking place on my PC, and, also, a new version of Firefox {the v158.0 I mentioned} was also being installed, too.)

I found a Profiles folder (C:\Users\Bram\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\p9f543mv.Default User\) that seemed to be relevant, and found a sessionstore-backups subfolder there. However, while that subfolder did NOT have a sessionstore.jsonlz4 file, it DID have files named previous..., recovery..., and (possibly connected to one of those updates), an upgrade... file, too.

When I first found this subfolder (in that "Roaming" area...I looked also in the "Local" area but wasn't confident I found anything more relevant), I copied/renamed previous... (with a timestamp from around the time of that system update, and large filesize) to previousOLD..., and the MUCH smaller recovery... to recoveryOLD, similar to the instructions in those threads. However, even if I also copied that previous... file to sessionstore... (to match those earlier instructions), Firefox would launch but with only the most-recent tabs (i.e., the Advanced Preferences {about:config} tab along with about:support {to provide Troubleshooting Information}) showing, as I'd launched them as part of my efforts to restore the session, and nothing else.)

I have "healthily-sized" recovery... and upgrade... files with the same date/time-stamp and filesize, though my efforts to try to get Firefox to open correctly have removed a similarly-sized previous... from that folder unfortunately -- hopefully the fact that recovery... and that upgrade... file have similar sizes mean they might(?) be valid substitutes for previous... should one be needed.

I hope that this described my situation well, but am happy to answer any questions you might have about it to the best of my ability.

Clearly, Mozilla updated some Firefox characteristics in the intervening three (3) years but I'm not sure how to adapt the new set of filenames to those previous instructions although, as I wrote, maybe one of those larger files will end up being what Firefox uses to try to restore everything...I just don't know what to do with it (i.e., what to rename it and/or where to copy/paste it) in order to make that happen.

Can you please offer some advice in this regard?

Firefox update and a pop up deleted my open tabs so that I couldn't easily restore history. I tried some of the suggested work arounds but was not allowed to copy (or open file) from profile folder, sessionsstorefile. What is needed for the required "permissions"?

When I use incognito mode and open and close multiple incognito tabs, closing the tabs and closing the last incognito mode browser instance leaves behind what appears to be Firefox processes for each closed tab. When I return to my open normal mode tabs, I cannot browse from the normal tabs, I get spinning circles and no progress. The only way to clear this is to close the normal browser and all its tabs, then use the task manager to manually end the remaining Firefox (zombie) tasks that seem to be left behind by the incognito tabs that were already closed. Then when I restart Firefox and restore my previous session, I can browse normally again.

It seems like there may be a bug here that the incognito tabs are not properly ending their processes when the tabs close. I have no involvement in the innards of Firefox, and simply wanted to report my difficult experiences to help in identifying problems. I am using Windows 11 and the latest version of Firefox - 158.0. I have seen this problem for at least a month or so. That means at least a few earlier versions of Firefox shared this issue.

I typically keep more than 10 tabs open in normal mode, and for incognito mode, I usually progress through at least ten more tabs, with two or three open at a time, but closing them after a few minutes as I complete each task. When I complete the browser tasks in incognito mode I make sure all the incognito tabs are closed. When I return to an open tab in normal mode and click on a link to browse onward, I never see any progress. I close the Firefox browser and all the normal tabs. I open the Windows task manager and even though I just closed Firefox, I see between 10 and 12 Firefox processes. I use the "end process" command in task manager to manually close what I think of as zombie Firefox processes. When I then open a new instance of Firefox, and use the History section to restore my previous session, all my normal mode tabs reopen, and I can use links in those tabs normally to proceed with browsing normally.

I am not familiar with the Firefox community and have not participated in your forums. I hope this might help you identify and fix any bug that may be present. I feel like I have a work around that is only slightly awkward.

After the recent Firefox upgrade a couple of days ago, I am unable to get to my Questrade login page. I click login, I get a white page with a message in bottom left hand corner "transferring data from login.questrade.com..." and no further response. I am able to login with MS Edge, and Firefox is able to access all my other websites except this one.

I have run through all the things to try in the Firefox support article "Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can" to no effect.

• cleared cookies & cache
• cleared recent history
• turned off DNS over HTTPS
• Disable IPv6- changed to true
• changed Proxy settings to No Proxy

I've turned off Bitdefender firewall and antivirus apps to no effect and ran a full system scan with Bitdefender. I really don't want to have to use a different browser each time I want to access questrade site. I would really appreciate any advice as to what else I could try to resolve this issue. I recently got a new computer because my old one crapped out and trying to find my old account that I had all my history on. there is only one account that let me recover but there is no history or saved plugins I had or anything from the past. I haven't really used firefox much in a while but all my history should still be there. I have several email accounts and not sure which one I used for this account. here is a list of all my current email accounts, if you could tell me which one i used for the past several years so i can recover that acoount that would be great, or if I have the right account how to get all my history and saved information back. here are my accounts.

View of ESPN "Schedules" is Correct on Edge but cut-off on Firefox, what am I doing wrong?

If I select Schedules in Firefox wherever the right side is extensive, the very end is cut off. If I use Edge, the browser corrects it, but I don't want to keep switching if I can help it.

Must have some setting wrong but haven't figured it out.

So i can not open up a youtube video i click on the thumbnail and nothing happens. Ive been working with chatgpt with this promblem and it still hasnt worked. I have factory rested my whole destop didnt help. it works in troubleshoot mode but not in the main one i had the problem on google chrome and i switched to firefox nothing changed and am frustrated I need help talking with chatgpt for 3 hours didnt work.

I have firefox on my home computer, and I finally got the school to allow me to use firefox on the school computer, but when I signed in with the same account, and turned on sync, nothing has changed. All the bookmarks and extensions and stuff is all still the same thing. I even pressed the sync now button, and still nothing happens. Am I doing this wrong? Does anyone know things I should check?
