Firefox keeps suddenly crashing, I have reset Firefox, deleted it and reinstalled it, I have used DISM and SFC to repair any issues and I have set up a new profile within Firefox with no extensions, but still I have the same issue, either tabs suddenly crash or the whole Firefox does.

Since last update...the reaction emojis on Facebook are blacked out. The entire bar of emojis are not visible. It is all black. Yet the words are visible when hovered over. There seems to be nothing wrong with the FB site and it has been suggested it could be the browser. So if you have any reports of glitches like this ...would be nice if you could fix. I'm suddenly getting repeated/multiple Mozilla Firefox "Browser Alerts", "System Warnings," and "McAfee Critical Virus Alerts" that are wrong and dysfunctional. They pop up every few seconds. They contain "Remove virus now" and "quick scan" buttons, but these only take me to a bright red screen that says:

"Deceptive site ahead Firefox blocked this page because it may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing personal information like passwords or credit cards."

These come even though I haven't tried to access any "deceptive sites." I have to x all of them out to clear my screen.

There's obviously a defect in your warning system. How do I stop this?

Those instructions don't work and I'm sick of spending so much time on this problem these days.

Now thinking it happens after an update, which is a problem because they seem to come just days apart. None of the solutions offered works because right-clicking on the top doesn't do anything. Nor does going into the settings in the app on my laptop or online. I've downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox more than once in the recent past. I've also shut down my laptop and rebooted. Nothing works. It's extremely annoying not to be able to access the features that I use *all the time*! day. I'm using a laptop with updated Windows 11.

I have automatic updates and my browser recently updated and there is VPN link on my browser wanting me to use it, but it doesn't give me the option to say no. I already have a VPN that I use through MalwareBytes that I use and another that I'm not using through Protonmail. For some reason since the VPN link showed up on my browser I have websites that I use every day that won't load. I want to refuse the VPN and see if that helps, but my only option is a Get Started link. How do I get rid of that?

Since the last few days weather.com will not work with my version of Firefox. I use 115.37.0esr version of Firefox. Since the last few days Weather.com seems like it is loading and displays the page correctly for half a second but as soon as the page appears, it disappears leaving a small message midscreen that says " This page couldn’t load - Reload to try again, or go back."

I tried turning off my adblocker but that made no difference. Anyone got any ideas? I really like weather.com. It's one of those nice websites that are like when the web was new and was just a useful thing for everyone.

I am unable to view old payment methods in order to delete them. When I go to Settings, Passwords and Autofill, Payment Methods, Manage Payment Methods, I can only add new methods. The old methods do not show up, i.e. the list is blank. I have many old payment methods that I'd like to delete that show up in drop-down when I click in a credit card number field. I have several saved cards in 152.0.1 (64-bit). When on a payment site the drop-down list shows up as expected, so the extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries is correct and working (GB). Also address filling still works, as does saved passwords,

However if I try to "Manage payment methods" the resulting list in "about:preferences#managePayments" is blank. (see image)

I have tried toggling on and off "save & autofill" and restarting, but nothing helps.

Adding a new card works, and the new card appears in the drop-down list on a payment form, but still nothing appears to edit or remove in the settings. How an I edit this list?

PS: I have disabled ALL extensions.

Tabs will crash over and over again. I can barely look at any given page for longer than a minute or two. What happened?? Firefox was never like this before. It just crashed in the middle of me typing this LMAO. Using Brave in the meantime. This is ridiculous.

I am returning to Firefox after many years and have recently reinstalled the browser. I logged into my old Firefox Account, but it immediately started syncing my old data (passwords, bookmarks, extensions) from years ago, which I no longer want.

Here is my dilemma:

I cannot simply turn off Sync. I want to use Sync for my new data (new passwords and bookmarks) moving forward, so keeping Sync enabled is necessary.

I cannot find an option to manually delete old data on the Mozilla account website. The "Delete Synced Data" option mentioned in some older guides does not seem to appear on my current account management page.

Is there a way to completely wipe the historical Sync data from the Mozilla servers so I can start fresh with a clean cloud, while still keeping the Sync feature active for my future data?

Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Firefox has been laggy at times lately on my PC (Windows 11 Home, Firefox 152). I have tried some fixes with no success (clearing the cache, deleting YouTube cookies, using the User-Agent Switcher, etc.) Other browsers appear to be unaffected. I first noticed this on YouTube, but it seems that other websites are affected as well.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.
