I had a big update of my laptop last night and when I turned it on again today all the tabs I had open in Forefox now just say 'New tab'.

I've read a lot about a sessionrestore backup folder but I don't know how to find this, I can't see one in the Mozilla folder on my C drive.

I'm not terribly computer savvy but if there's a comparatively easy to follow solution that would be great, thanks.

Hi ArthurStrieb, Not a problem, we can help. So first check History > Restore previous Session or if History > Recently closed tabs are not greyed out. From there you would be able to open the tabs from history as the easiest way to restore them.

If reloading the tabs that say new:tab do not take you to their previous urls then we can try History > Show All History to find them

I understand that its not ideal, but its easier than digging in the profile folder. Did you already try this?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Yep, already tried this but the previous session didn't work and reloading the tabs didn't either.

I can find them all in my history, it's just going to take a while as some of them had been open for months and finding them amongst all my other history is a rather daunting task, but if rooting through the profile folder is complicated guess I'll have to.

How hard is it to do? If it's just a simple step by step process I can do that.
