All the windows that I use regularly there has never been a problem with normal normal hover and left click. I've never run across this quandary and it only happens in Firefox. Every other window has no problems accomplishing this task. I have tried and tried to search Mozilla, some setting gone amuck. I can't find help I hope someone out there can help me. I'm just frustrated. Thank you in advance.

You're saying you can't close the Firefox window using the red X top right corner? Does the X move when you press it?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

FredMcD I never knew my browser had a Safe Mode, kewl. I followed your advice and am narrowing down the add-on culprit, so far, it may be the theme "BlackFox V.2" this theme updated around 4/2/16 which is when my problem started, of course I didn't realize this until this troubleshooting begun. The problem appears in Windows 10, I have the same setup on my laptop running Windows 7 which has no issues running "BlackFox V.2". I still need to check more add-ons but this is a good start. I'll reply again when it's completely resolved. Thanks for getting me started. p.s. I never did get a reaction/movement while hovering top right. Things in Safe Mode we're just fine and it acted normally.
