Set Firefox as the default browser for iOS

You can make Firefox your default browser on your iPhone or iPad. After you change your default browser, web links you open from other apps will automatically open in Firefox.

Set Firefox as default browser

Make sure Firefox is installed on your device before you begin.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap Apps.

  3. Tap Default Apps.

  4. Tap Browser App.
    firefoxforiosdefaultapps
  5. Select Firefox.
    firefoxforiosbrowserappseection

Firefox is now your default browser. When you tap a web link in another app, iOS will open it in Firefox.
