I'm currently making a custom theme for Thunderbird for my own personal use. I've gotten pretty much everything how I want it to look – except the main content. I prefer light mode for accessibility, and currently it's stuck in dark mode everywhere (my settings menu, calendar, mailbox, etc).

The first image is how it currently looks, and the second is how I want it to look (the black boxes are there to block sensitive info). What would I need to add/edit in my manifest.json and/or style.css to get there?

before i used top tab out of my browser and my theme i downloaded for the theme section on the browser addons would stay but now every time i do it gose to a horrible blue theme instead how do i fix this to keep my normal theme when im tabbed out please and thanks i stream to i use this to keep chat open and when i tab out to game it goes horrible blue which never used to happen i dont like this and dont want it so someone please help me resolve the issue.

I am searching through the Find more Themes page. They either don't open or I get a An unexpected error occurred when trying to open them. I've updated to the current version, and still not working.

Also I have Grammarly for Firefox added, for my word spell checker, but it keeps using the windows checker. How do I fix that.

I have a problem with contrast-free Firefox. I cannot see what tab is active what is passive. I tried to get better contrast by changing the theme with those available for Firefox. I have tried at least a dozen of them, but all get the sane destiny. It might take a couple of days or a couple of weeks, it comes. I mean after a short period my applied theme disappears and I get the same standard theme.

Just had a not requested update to 153 esr, which in itself is generally fine, with a small exception.

The windows min, max and close buttons all come up with a code.

Probably just some weird setup I have but any ideas will be welcome.

I use userChrome.css to give a background colour, so maybe the ID of each has changes for any css

1. titlebar-min{height:1.66em; background:#00b !important}
2. titlebar-max{height:1.66em; background:#090 !important}
3. titlebar-close{height:1.66em; background:#d00 !important}

but I don't see how that would effect the actual bare icon

I have set a custom theme on my Thunderbird on Linux. As you can see by the attached image though, the menu bar is hard to read when you get to the right side. Dark background and dark text doesn't really go together. Is there a way to make the background of the menu bars a solid color or something less see-through so the text can be read? I want a light theme, but I need to be able to read the menu.

I have been using the them, Jesus is Lord for years. Suddenly when I open up the attach file box...it has changed colors and it is back on white. I can't do black background with white text. I tried changing it in several places with not avail. Can someone please explain why it suddenly changed colors on me and how to get the original white background with black type? Thanks, Carol

My FF Browser introduced a vertical row of rings which I want to get rid off. Im using W10 and FF Version 151.0.4 (64-Bit). Rings are stable, updates show them again. Any Help???

The latest update for the beta version 153.0b1 of 6/16/26 has made my theme stop working although it still says enabled. The theme is: ANIMATED Sakura by candelora 🌸 Theme Designed by candelora © 🌸 Animated Apng Theme I'm using Windows 11 on a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex with Firefox as my default browser. I'm an old lady, not tech-enabled in any way. Please help and thanks.

could you guide on what could i be able to do and how do i see those themes section where to see my all installed themes and how i can enable it so that I'll be able to see the changes on my browser?

Hi - I love the themes available in Firefox. However, some themes I use change my Bookmarks section to "dark". I assume that is by design. However, is there any setting in themes that will enable the Bookmarks section to stay on a light setting? If not, may I please submit this as feedback for a future suggestion? Also, the themes affect the look of part of the new sidebar. I would also like to submit as feedback this issue. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi I am a theme girl and have tried many over time. I had never used the Dynamic Theme which is supposed to change from day to night along with what it's doing outside. It was kind of bland (sorry to the creator) so I tried to change it to another one and it worked just fine. When I came back to my computer it had changed back to the Dynamic one again. Again I changed it then it was back again. Yesterday I actually removed it from my list of addons and now it's back again. How do I stop it? Thanks for any help. ♥

Your themes aren't working right and for some reason the bookmarks sidebar has gone dark, and MY theme which I created is no longer available. The toolbar up top loses the icons for back space, forward, home, and refresh and I constantly have to re enable the theme to make them reappear. This is getting tiresome and needs fixing.

After update to FF 150.0 I have an issue I can't solve myself. My old theme that I was using for many, many years changed colours, because now frame colour corresponds to whatever FF uses dark theme or light theme for some panels like bookmarks, bookmarks editor e.t.c ( I assume it). So if frame is dark all other elements switch to dark mode. I`m looking for a way to change it back to how it was before FF 150.0, meaning if frame is dark I want all rest element of FF to become light themed. For instance: in manifest.json if "frame": "rgb(31, 34, 60)", everything else turn dark if "frame": "rgb(131, 134, 160)", everything else turns light Default themes won't work for me ( v.bad eyesight ) Is there any entry I can add to manifest.json to get what I want? I mean: if "frame": "rgb(31, 34, 60)", I need everything to use LIGHT themed colours.

An Add-on (a theme) I've been using, Graphite Grace by compilan, has been removed with the following message:

"This add-on is blocked for violating Mozzila's policies and has been disabled".

As a user, I feel I have the right to know what policies were violated, and whether the add-on was indeed malicious as well as what data may have been compromised. Where can I get that information?

Планируется ли создание такой персонализации как на ПК? Если вы не планируете заниматься этим обновлением то пожалуйста напишите, чтобы я его не ждал. Благодарю за понимание!
