Why firefox doesn't clear my history after i close it ?

i actually wanted firefox to delete my recent history after i close it so i went to the options - privacy - use custom setting for history - clear history when firefox closes , but after i close firefox it never deletes the history .... why ??

Hello kenny123ac, do you have check mark the Browsing history [v] , Download history[v] and Form & search history[v] in Settings button ?

How do I make Firefox clear my history automatically?
