i have not updated because your certificate has expired. what should i do?

i keep getting the popup to update but when i check the certificate,it says it expired october 31,2011. so i am hesitant to update to the latest version with an expired certificate showing up.

it says firefox has an update and do i want to make changes to the computer. when i check the certificate,it says it expired oct.30.
