I upgraded to firefox 5 and use zone alarm extreme security for my virus etc. I can only go online by turning off my zone alarm. Why?
I upgraded to fire fox 5 on a windows xp running zone alarm extreme security for virus, etc. The only way I can connect to the internet now is by turning off zone alarm.

Your new Firefox is probably being blocked by your Zone Alarm firewall. Delete any references to Firefox and Plug-in Container from the firewall programs list.
The Firefox entry will be re-set on re-start.
