Firefox 4.0 beta 10 crashes my Thinkpad W510
Firefox Beta 4.10 crashes the video driver on my Thinkpad W510 running Windows 7 64. This behavior did not occur using Firefox 3.0 and it doesn't occur using Internet Explorer 9.0 Beta. I use my laptop at work in a docking station hooked up to 3 monitors. Firefox 4.0 Beta has not crashed while docked. It only crashes when it is being used as a portable machine using the laptops display. The last crash ID I had was in December because I quit using Firefox and switched to Internet Explorer.
Firefox doesn't allow me to edit my sharepoint site properly.

- Upgrade to Firefox 4.0 Beta 11.
- Upgrade your graphic driver from http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win7-winvista-64bit-266.58-whql-driver.html or from your computer manufacturer support site.
- If it does not solve your issue, try to disable Norton IPS 2.0 that is known to be crashy for Firefox 4. See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
- Using the latest version of plugins is also good to prevent crashes, check your plugin.
