I do a lot of comparative research and 25 tabs open is usual. Sometimes I need a lot more - (I have had 40+ tabs open...) My question is: When or if, should I look at opening a new browser window?

Cheers!

That is up to you. If you have enough memory then 100 or 200 tabs shouldn't be a problem. It may be a problem to locate a specific tab if you have that many tabs open and then it may be time to think about another window. You can also use a separate window for a specific subject. You can use the tear off feature to drag tabs to a new window.

Thank you Cor-el. What took you so long to reply?  :-)  :-) 100 tabs is even a lot for me........ I wasn't sure if opening a 2nd window would be a lot more stress on the system.

Have to go look up "tear off" now - didn't know about it.

Cheers!
