I want to delete mozilla but keep getting a msg. to close firefox tho it's not running
I go to remove programs and hit delete on mozilla. It starts checking then saya firefox must be closed to continue even though firefox isn't running.

You can try to remove the Firefox program folder directly to remove the Firefox program.
Why do you want to remove Firefox ?

Your solution didn't work. The msg. is close firefox before removing but it's not running. I don't use firefox. I'm old and grouchy, now can you get it off or not. If you can't handle it I'll buy a new hard drive. Thanks
