how can i open in my page instead of myprofile
i had a problem with microsoft which messed with firefox now it keeps asking me choose a profile instead of opening directly on the page

Hi Maria, are you using a desktop shortcut or taskbar button to start Firefox? It's possible that there is a -P in the shortcut "target" line to call up the profile chooser. To check and edit:
- right-click > Properties (on the Taskbar, you might need to right-click the pinned shortcut, then right-click Firefox and then right-click Properties)
- Windows should select the Shortcut tab but, if it doesn't switch to the Shortcut tab
- Check the Target line to see whether it has any parameters after the standard command
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
If there is anything extra, you can delete it.

Actually, here's something to check first.
In Firefox, click the main menu button (the one with a stack of 3 lines), then click the profile name and click Manage Profiles.
On the panel that pops up, check at the bottom for a checkbox labeled "Choose a profile when Firefox opens". If that has a check, remove it.
