There are not Firefox tabs on a Windows screen?
You can have multiple Firefox instances open on the Task bar, not a great idea.
If it is really tabs on Fx then go to Settings > Tabs and browsing
You can also have multiple shortcuts to Firefox on the desktop, which could point to different sites, a we bit messy
You can have a 'Home Page' on Fx so that when you open Fx you get a 'grid' of sites you have chosen for quick access
The later is the understanding I will use:
Via the three horizontal lines, top right you will find the option Settings > Home and startup
There you have option to set the 'landing page/home page'
You can select Homepage and New tab to a few options. If you chose Firefox home then you with have more option to decide what you want on the screen, which will include Recent visits.
