What is the latest release of Thunderbird for Windows 7 Pro?
I am the long time user, currently running revision 115.18.0. When my OS is not supported then will the Thunderbird notify me?

Besides using Windows 10 or 11 the other option is to say dual boot with a current Linux distro. However unless you use a version that has extended support, many distros tend to only have software package support for say 2-3 or so years. I do suggest using a lighter desktop like Mate or Xfce over the heavier Gnome and KDE if your Windows 7 hardware is old.
You can use the tarbal version current versions of Thunderbird and Firefox and get internal updates even when software package updates are made EOL.

The last version of Thunderbird to support the EOL Windows 7, 8, 8.1 was the Tb 115.18.0 as Thunderbird 116.0 and later requires Windows 10, 11 to run.
Mozilla is still supporting Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 with Firefox 115 ESR currently at Fx 115.38.0esr and planned for updates till March 2027.

Dear James, Thank you very much for your fast and extended answer. My second question would be the same but it would be related to Firefox. Now I can see that my Mozilla applications are at top for Windows 7: Firefox 115.38.0esr (64-bit) --- this may be updated and labelled with another digit of the "esr" prefix; Thunderbird 115.18.0 (32-bit) --- this is the latest for Windows 7.
I hope that I will be updating my desktop soon to the station running Windows 11, and stay up-to-date with my favourite Mozilla applications with browser and mailer. I hope that those will be available with a corresponding Mozilla Backup utility again.
