When using vertical tabs and making a tab fullscreen, the vertical tabs remain and the tab is not fully fullscreen, please fix.

I have vertical tabs turned on. Say i want to watch a movie, i press F11 or fullscreen to open it fullscreen. It makes the whole page fullscreen, but the vertical tabs remain still on the left. I want that fixed so that vertical tabs are hidden when its fullscreen.
