The comment sections for foxnews.com and other sites disappeared using Firefox but not when I switched to Chrome. This just happened 6-18-25. Before this date, it worked on Firefox.

This sometimes happens with cross-site comment sections: because the comment service provider can track you across multiple sites, someone adds them to the Tracking Protection list. As a test, you can disable tracking protection on the news site and see whether that helps. Here's how:

Look for a shield icon toward the left end of the address bar, next to the lock icon. Click the icon to check the current status and then on the panel that drops, click the blue slider switch to disable protection. Firefox should reload the page automatically, but you also can use either of the following to flush the web cache for the page as well:

  • Shfit+click the Reload button on the toolbar
  • Press Ctrl+Shift+R

See: Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop.

Any luck?

Yes that helped. I disabled the shield. Thank you.
