dunno if this is the right board, but here goes...

I discovered a bug with Firefox and the pen/touchscreen on my lenovo X1 tablet.

Using the touchscreen, move the map, map works as it should. Can pinch to zoom, ect.

Switch to the pen, map works with pen.

Touch the screen again and Google maps doesn't respond to touchscreen anymore, only the pen, and refresh does not fix it. I have to close and re-open maps in a new tab.

In chrome, this does not happen. Only in Firefox.

Unless it reports a bug issue in Firefox browser that could be software related from the OS itself not the browser and it could be incompatible with Firefox. Firefox and Chrome use different programming so what works in one doesn't mean it work in another. This comparisons doesn't tell much for anyone to what is going on. So unless it gives a bug report that can be posted or send to Mozilla bug or not no one will know. Also make sure your touchscreen driver works with Firefox browser as well.

I have sent multiple bug reports already. need this fixed, urgently. also, I know my touchscreen driver works in Firefox, as the rest of the browser and websites work just fine. its only Google maps thats giving me issues.

That sounds annoying! It seems like Firefox is having some issues with touchscreen support on your Lenovo X1 tablet. Since Chrome works fine, it’s probably a bug specific to Firefox. Hopefully, they’ll release an update to fix this soon.
