Hi Michael, your subject line is new tab, but at the end, you refer to "x" which usually closes a tab. ''New Tab Button'' If you cannot find the New Tab (+) button, it's possible that it moved to a different bar or was completely removed from the bars. You can use the Customize feature to find and move the button. See: [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars]]. If it's nowhere to be found, try the "Restore Defaults" button at the bottom of the Customize tab. ''Close Tab Button(s)'' In the very earliest days, Firefox only had one tab close button, which was positioned at the end of the tab bar, instead of close buttons on individual tabs.
