Thunderbird crashed,re downloaded,signed in,lost all previous emails & settings. fix????
Not sure of the cause but I have had to re-download Thunderbird & sign back in, but all my previous emails (in & out) have not re-appeared & the screen set-up is different (All my previous email folders not visible). How can I get my old info/set-up back? Software was all up to date automatically.

After a crash, TB can lose track of the profile. It's still there, but making TB recognize it may repairing the prefs.js file:

If the crash wasn't caused by something like a power outage, it was possibly caused by an AV app update that was incompatible with TB. It's generally recommended to exclude the TB profile folder from AV scanning.
Did you find multiple profiles?
