drag firefox to applications folder and it stalled on preparing to copy to applications
Firefox was not responding so I dragged it to trash and downloaded current version. Dragged firefox to applications folder to install and it is stuck on "Preparing to copy to Applications." I relaunched Finder to get rid of this window and tried again with same result.

I am having the same issue, too! I have tried rebooting, doing a clean uninstall and reinstall and other things but it still does the same thing. I have never had this issue before.
