i open an email from the inbox list while viewing email I delete it and nothing happens, i have the correct settings turned on in options same thing happens if i view an email and choose to move it to another folder it still does not return to the list

The point is, if you did have that add-on installed, you would see the kind of thing you're seeing. But it's better you uninstall the beta version and download and install the release version. It won't affect your mail and settings.

When I tried to apply it said it was not compatible with my release of Thunderbird 66.0b1 (32-bit.
Maybe consider using release software and not beta software. 60.5.1 is the lastest release version.
