Lightning Day & Week views show time as "[Dec 17, 18]; how to fix?

On my laptop (Macbook running MacOS 10.13.6), the Day & Week views in Lightning show times during the day as "[Dec 17, 18]." Before updating to TB 60.3.3 (64-bit) & Lightning 6.2.3.3, it was showing "[Jan 1, 70]."

My desktop iMac is running the same versions of the OS, TB, & Lightning. But it shows the times correctly.

Both machines also have Lightning Calendar Tabs 2.2 & LightningButton 1.5.7.

Both also have Ligntning preferences on the General tab set to display Long:, but for some reason the format is different. The iMac shows "Long: Monday, December 17, 2018" and the laptop shows "Long: [Mon, Dec 17, 18]. Similarly, on the Views tab, the iMac shows Day starts at "8:00 AM" & Day ends at "5:00 PM," but the laptop shows Day starts at "[Jan 1, 70] 08:00" and Day ends at "[Jan 1 70] 17:00."

I suspect the problem is related to these differences in the settings. But how can I fix this and get the laptop to show proper times?
