For those who have experience with MBOX to PST converters, what happens with Thunderbird Tags? I extensively use tags in Thunderbird and know that Outlook doesn't have tags. Will tags possibly be converted to labels?

Are there any workarounds to having emails that are marked/categorized with tags to keep those markers when converting to Outlook?

What happens will most likely depend on the converter you choose to use. Perhaps ask the sellers of the product what they do with labels and tags.

There's some information on tags and labels here that explains the differences between POP and IMAP accounts, and why some IMAP accounts store the tags in the msf index files and others on the server.
