I don't remember my password and need to link a second email address to my default address.
My computer and my droid automatically sign in to my email. I don't remember my email password. I would like to add a 'forward' from another cox email to my default email and I have to sign in with a password....that I don't remember and cannot find anywhere to change my password.

Your password is administered with your email provider. Contact them to reset a forgotten password.
You can see what you told Thunderbird to remember and enter for you by going to...
Options-Security-Passwords-Saved Passwords
Click show passwords.
Thunderbird has nothing to do with forwarding your emails. You would do that at your providers web ail site.
If you really mean add an additional email to Thunderbird go to...
File-New-Existing Mail Account
