
Thunderbird can't copy messages to Sent folder or Draft Folder, and is not picking up any new incoming messages. I am able to send messages though.
At first it looked like it was just hanging - with the blue connection circle whirling round and round without every bringing in new messages. So, after trying various things, I grabbed my last Profile backup folder and replaced the current one - figuring it might have been corrupt. Now I have my email situation from 10 days ago (last back-up) but it still isn't picking up any of the emails from my server. I can still send an email, but that email won't copy to my Sent folder; nor, will it copy to Drafts while I'm composing.

webcontrol.canreg.com does not look as it is it a correct email server to be connecting to, but it does appear to respond on that port.
try changing the connection security to none and see if that helps. The test I did indicates the Diffie-Hellman parameter's size is only 1024 bits. So SSL/TLS should not be used with the server.

Not sure what you did when you poked around on the host server, but something happened and all the emails flooded in and we're now back and running as normal. Thanks!!
