After the Huge Firefox update that changed Firefox completely, there is some kind of an Error there. Every 4-7 Days Firefox cleans itself without my permission. I open up Google or YouTube or some other Websites and all Settings that I done to that Websites where removed and I wasn't logged in anymore. There is no Message about that and Firefox also don't give me a log file or something and I couldn't find any Help on the Internet. Before the Update there wasn't something like that. I thought it is my CCleaner or my Anti-Virus but I also tested it by deactivating them completely for some time but Firefox cleans itself though.

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Flash Player Version: Version 28.0.0.126

Your problem sounds like something is cleaning out the data.

Profile data can be removed or not recorded several ways;

  • 1) Running Firefox in Private Mode (nothing is recorded)
  • 2) Privacy settings; (In the address bar, type about:preferences#privacy<enter>)
  • 3) Many disk cleaners and anti-virus type programs can remove data from browsers. Open their settings and have them leave the browsers alone.
  • 4) Mal-ware.
