Unable to create new events in Lightning Calendar. Popup comes up blank with only menu items and no way to create an event. Been using this setup for approx. 7 years other than upgrading along the way. We use an internal Beehive server with an extension but I've never experienced an issue like this before. When I click on Invite Attendees the normal popup for that comes up and seems to work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Lightning to no avail.

Thunderbird 52.1.0 Lightning 5.4

I tried uploading a few images to attach to this issue but it didn't work.

I read that beehive causes a problem. What happens if you disable beehive?

the original poster of the problem could not upload images so here's one from my system - blank and not really resizable but just like the original poster, the "Invite Attendees" window opens normally and looks fine.

Wayne, could you explain disabling beehive?

Tools > add-ons > extensions find the addon pick disable

yes, Disabling Oracle Beehive Extensions for Thunderbird seems to have resolved the issue. I guess I'll have to check with the developer of that.

I just noticed I've got this problem, and yes, I do have Beehive.

Tools > General

Added a check mark to "Edit events and tasks in a tab instead of in a dialog window"

OK

Now when I add an event I get a tab that has all of the fields and settings.

This workaround helped me too. On Linux, the option is Preferences->Calendar->General->"Edit events and tasks in a tab instead of in a dialog window"

Thanks!
