Edit cert8.db for the entire machie instead of specific users?

Does Firefox have a global certificate authority database that I can import .pem files too using certutil that will hold true for all instances of Firefox on the entire machine instead of just the user?

C:\Users\User1\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default

is the directory that I am currently working in, and this allows me to add a .pem file to the cert8.db for just User1. It would be great if I could do it on the Local System level.

Is that possible?

hi, the blog post at https://mike.kaply.com/2015/02/10/installing-certificates-into-firefox/ contains some methods to globally deploy certificates.

It is probably best to keep the discussion about cert8.db in one thread, so I will be locking this one. Please continue in the other thread you created.
