Why when sending email in thunderbird it also sends a blank reply? All settings are turned off for return receipt and reply.
When I send an email in Thunderbird a blank Re: is sent separately. If you have "returned receipts" disabled and everything else works fine in TB, you might simply try re-installing it. I know this isn't much of an answer, but it cannot hurt.
