Copying the Firefox "icon" to my Applications folder will not complete.
I get the following error message: The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure “Locked” is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again.
Permissions show that I can read only. What do I do?

Try to repair the disk permissions:
Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.
Open the Firefox disk image file and drag the Firefox program into the Applications folder on your hard drive. You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.
