This is my first time to Mozilla Support with a question.

Firefox is my default browser using version 155.0.1. I use Strict ETP. [FYI - my skills are basic with IT]. I also use Firefox Focus on my iPhone.

I previously used Google Chrome but I must have removed it as it's no longer appearing in my desktop Apps.

As of a couple of days ago, I tidied up my Library/cache and deleted it to 'Trash', using Apple support community help instructions for housekeeping. (Because I was getting increased frequency in the spinning ball at start-up). I didn't delete any other folders - just Library/cache in my housekeeping.

Since then, when searching Google / Firefox, Google keeps asking if I'm a robot (asking me to tick a 'reCaptcha' box) as it's detecting unusual traffic on my computer - before it continues with my search via Firefox browser.

This doesn't happen when using other search engines, (eg: Bing or Duck Duck Go).

Using Google searches on Safari browser does not ask me if I'm a robot question ? Searches go through perfectly - no questions asked. Only when I use Google search engine with desktop Firefox. Is it my privacy settings?

I prefer Firefox as my browser because it's independent and open sourced, safe and for its sense of community.

My desktop MacBook Air (2017) is 9 y/o - vintage? So, no longer receiving software updates - but hoping to upgrade with a new Mac desktop soon. (see attached image of current MacBook Air operating system Monterey version 12.7.6).

My question is:

- Why is Google only in the last two days asking me at every search, the above question about 'unusual traffic' / tick the robot box ? And,

- Should I reinstall 'Google Chrome' via the Apple Store?

Or for better security, think of getting a new computer sooner, rather than later ? :(

I use GiveAsYouLive to raise funds for charity when shopping online. To ensure it works what settings should I have in Firefox to allow the shop site to interact with my browser? Please explain in simple terms as I'm not a techie !

Good day everybody, I am new to Firefox. I have MacBookAir 11. I added the Ecosia extension since it's my main search engine. I noticed there aren't ads popping up for Ecosia. That is how Ecosia makes money for it's sustainability projects, so, as nice as it is to not see ads, I would like them to show up for my Ecosia searches. I understand you can make an Enhanced Tracking Protection exception (and I did), but where can I find a place to make exceptions for whatever AdBlock software came already integrated to Firefox? I am liking Firefox so far. Thank you everybody. Miran.

I posted my problem last week on the forum and was told to do a Control+Shift+K, which I did. It indicated that Fingerprinting was blocking the sonograms. I am nervous about unblocking this one feature of eBird and wonder if someone could investigate and walk me through fixing it without messing things up overall. Nobody answered my post. Hi, I am experiencing an issue with accessing my Amazon orders and returns when using Mozilla Firefox. While I can navigate to Amazon.com without any problems, I am now prompted to sign in to my Amazon account whenever I attempt to view my orders or returns. This pop-up indicates that it is a Firefox security issue rather than a Windows problem. This situation has only started occurring recently, and I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. My Firefox version is 150.03. Thank you for your help.

I just heard about the new Block AI Enhancements feature on Firefox from a friend, and I was genuinely SO excited to have this option. However, I can’t figure out how to enable this setting on mobile. I’ve checked every tab in both Firefox settings and the app settings on my device, and I just updated the app this morning (02.26.26) so I’m not sure what I’m missing. Hoping that it’s not desktop only, I’d be really disappointed to have to wait on this one!

something new is happening where I am opening up a webpage in Firefox to read an article, and my podcast that I'm listening to in the also open podcast app suddenly drops out and music starts playing from an ad on the website, even though I have not yet scrolled far enough down in the article to even see they had much less given it permission to play at me.

Blocking this kind of interference is why I have exclusively used Firefox as my web browser on iOS as well as on my laptop computers. I'm very disappointed to see this and hoping that someone will point out to me a simple change of settings that will keep this kind of random noise pollution at bay.
