https://www.biglobe.ne.jp 上記プロバイダ業者のメールアカウントについてセキュリティ強化対策の一環としてメール通信の 暗号化(SSL/TLS)で設定を変更するように通知が届いた

記載されている通り設定を実施したがメールの送受信ができず、改めてIMAPで同アカウントを設定 しなおそうとしたがサーバーに接続できず設定ができない状況

プロバイダ業者には連絡済みであり、サーバー情報やパスワード、設定等は間違っていない為、 Mozillathunderbird側へ確認して欲しいとの指示でした 設定をどう変更すれば進めることができるか。

また、既存のアカウントのパスワードを変更することはできるが、保存されている設定では接続 できない為、新たにパスワード等の設定を実施したいが、既存アカウントの画面ではそのような画面が 存在しない Outlook等ではサーバー情報の再設定やパスワードの再入力ができる画面が存在するが、thunderbird においても同様に操作することはできないか。

When sending an Email to multiple addresses my Mail Server returns a message that the Email will not be sent and to try again later. After deleting all of the Email messages saved up to that point the Server still refuses after many tries to send the multiple addressed Email. I have explained all of this to the Web provider and have tested the multiple addressed Email using the Severs Webmail service. They finally advised me to check with your support service to see if the problem could be resolved. I have used Thunderbird for many years and I like the software. Running Thunderbird 140.2.0esr (64-bit) on Ubuntu 22.04. Both Tbird and Firefox are frequently hanging with "not responding" message. Sometimes if I "wait" it responds again. But I often have to Force Quit. Sometimes all apps, the cursor, everything hangs completely. A couple of times, I've had to reboot to continue. This has happened far more often in the last few months than it did previously. It can happen after opening new mail or after opening mail saved in Local Folders. I run updates as often as I am notified that they are available. The only extension listed is Import Export Tools. I just disabled that, since I wasn't aware that it was running.

In TB 155.01 when I click on Delete the email leaves my Inbox but does not display in the Deleted folder. If I look at Properties in the Deleted folder it shows the correct number of messages in there but the messages themselves do not show in the right hand window. Thus there is no way of seeing what the messages are, just the total quantity in the folder.

Hi! I'm hoping you can help me! I use Thunderbird, and have for many years, and I love it. My computer is on its last legs, and I'm trying to save up for a new one, but, yesterday I did something possibly stupid... (yeah, I know, you NEVER get people asking for help who've done stupid things, so this will be unusual... lol). Anyway... I turned my computer on and got a popup saying that my Thunderbird needs an update and it's been a while since I updated, so I hit OK on the update... Well, my arsehole of a computer chose that exact minute to shit itself and die. When I tried restarting it, my Thunderbird no longer works. Now I have a popup with a big red X that says "The installation seems to be corrupt. Please check your hardware and disk setup and/or re-install." Can you help me? I desperately need to check my email and have one I need to send. I don't know what to do. I've also got YEARS worth of emails sitting in the system, so I can't risk losing them, either. Please help. I use Thunderbird, download on my PC computers (desktop and laptop) and on my iphone (using apple email set up - not Tbird app). I have noticed the folders are not synced on all three devices. Some are missing. Am I not doing something to sync them?

I often get a sound and in the windows notification area is a verification failure notification from Thunderbird, but there is no further information about which mail account, I have several, the failure occurred on.

I am unable to have my mail contacts from AOL imported into Thunderbird.

I cannot see the OAuth2 dialog panel. <-----!!!!!

I am in the country in which I normally use the account and my Norton VPN is off.

The authentication method in ≡ > Account Settings > Server Settings set to OAuth2 for AOL.

After several hours of trying to figure out why a folder didn't show certain messages, I realised that I had selected a Custom View a few days ago and it still applied quietly when I selected that folder. This is not the first time I fall for it. Is there a way TB would show that a Custom View filtered out some of the messages? Eg the Custom View button could be depressed, or the background in the messages pane would be different, or something. As it is now, I think I won't use the feature again and save myself hours of scratching my head in the future.

I run Thunderbird on MacOS for some years without a problem. Now, after a hard reboot, Thunderbird won't launch anymore. I tried reinstalling to no avail. Is there anything I could do here? Or do you need any more info? The crash report is as follows:

Hello. i have latest beta 156.b3 64bit, after updating to beta 3 my tb offer retry passwords to many google acccounts and opening FireFox for again login in to each account. I have turned off checking mails on the start up for them and turn off checking mails, but again and again opening firefox for signing in. i closing firefox but TB not continue checking mail from another mailboxes, they stopped and seems like waiting for signing. i try to manually click for each mailbox "get message", but this no work, could you help me turn off login through firefox?

Since the latest update, the uploading of new emails from the server can take minutes to hours. I know the emails are on the server, because I can see them by logging onto my email client on my iPad. Why has Thunderbird suddenly become very frustrating to use? An example which just happened - I was required to enter a 6 digit code to be able to confirm my account before I could submit this question. I waited, and waited and waited to see this code in my Inbox. Finally I went to my iPad to get the code, so I could submit this question. It was there as I expected, but not in my Thunderbird Inbox for another 10 minutes. This is happening far too often, so I am contemplating finding another email program which is not so frustrating.
