Firefox domin Android Community Forum

For some reason, for like, 19 out of 20 times I try, I cannot google search anything on the Android firefox app. I type in the query. I hit search. It loads for a long time. And I am met with "server error".

No other apps seem to have trouble connecting. No other websites on the same browser and phone has these problems. I can kind if get by as long as I know the url. But as soon as I try to find anything where I don't know the url. I get the same Server Error. It's been going on for weeks. I've disabled all extensions and uninstalled them. I've been on multiple networks both at home and work and mobile networks. I have reinstalled firefox. I have tonight even cleared both cache and data. Other devices on the same network and browser can google just fine. Nothing I can think of has made a difference.

Anyone hasany ideas I can try out? I am certain some kind of user error is involved. It usually is. But I am at a loss of what it could be.

On Firefox Android, every time i completely close the app and reopen it, I'm logged out of sync. Of course this is incredibly annoying and makes sync basically useless, since having to start a fresh session multiple times a day not only takes time but it creates a huge list of "devices" so sending tabs back and forth becomes a nightmare.

Any idea what might cause this? AFAIK I'm not swapping IP's multiple times a day and i haven't used a VPN during the time this started happening. (I do have ProtonVPN installed, but it's a fairly trustworthy company so i doubt it's that.)

I use firefox on my android Fairphone to play podcasts and videos because I don't want to have a zillion more apps and this matches the way I use the net on my laptop anyway.

One thing that bugs me is the notification bell every time I start watching / listening, and then the notification sound when it stops.

I've checked through the android settings (version 13) but I can't find it. Is there a control in Firefox which is causing the notifications?

I need to build firefox android with an extension installed. I'm trying for ublock origin now but I'll use my own extension later. I do not plan to submit this or whatever,it'll be local. How can I do it?

Hello, I am having an issue when playing videos on youtube or youtube music on firefox (android). While I can unpause the video / music with the tab being in the background (different tab or even app is focused or even with locked screen), for some reason whenever I am currently focused on the youtube tab and leave it (lock screen, move to different tab or minimize the app to go to home screen/different app) the video will pause and I will need to unpause it again. Does anybody have a solution for this?

Why is it that when I browse Facebook and scroll down, it automatically throws me back up? In this situation, I have to repeat the scrolling twice, this happens every time I scroll down the page (this only happens with Firefox because other browsers do not have this problem)

I have lost the ability to customize the browser and the audio is gone. Audio works with EDGE, AND CHROME still. This is a Firefox issue. I woke up and it had changed, I made no changes to anything from yesterday when I had everything working fine.
