I started using Firefox because I was having issues with cliches in my banking app with Google. And I don't like using google. My grand daughter recommend Firefox.

I have Windows 11 on my laptop and downloaded Firefox for Windows 11. Everything worked great for a while, then I started having the same cliches with Firefox that I was having with Google. The bank IT tech support advised me to clean my cache. So I did and everything was fine,,,,, for a few weeks and now it has done it again. This caused me to go back and clean my cache again, I did that, restarted my banking app and now it is working fine.

The most confusing part is. when it cliched this time. I went in to verify my Firefox version and my Windows version . The best I could tell, my windows is 11 but my Firefox in 10, so I don't know what I'm doing. Why would is show that when I downloaded the version 11?

Finally, am I going to have to clean my cache on a regular basis or is there some way I can have it cleaned automatically by my computer?

I am 70 years old and I have worked on my own computer since they first came out with home computers with dial up modems with out windows, We had to use DOS commands,.. So I use to know my way around computers pretty darn well.. Now technology is so advanced it is like Greek to me. I need some easy instructions and a K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Silly). So can and will someone talk plan English to me?

The email address box does not accept the email address and comes up with an error message. The only way to send an email is to use a different browser ie Google. Emails are still received as normal on Firefox / BT mail

I was having problems with overlays and somehow got to a page that allowed me to turn off overlays....I ignored the warning about some sites would not work properly and turned it on....now most sites do not work properly. I cannot find the page in setting to turn overlays back on. i have uninstalled and reinstalled with no results. I cannot find the page even on my other computers that i did not mess with. Where do i go to turn that switch back on?

I have a problem loading the page "claude.ai". yesterday it was working perfectly but today Firefox shows me a blank page. I really don't know what to do. I tried to clear the cache, going in private mode, forcing a reset, closing and reopening. What's the problem? Thanks

Well it never opens when I write ww. Wattpad. Com it's loads then says err timed out iver asked chatgpt and it suggested ask firefox so here I am do you think wattpad will work on Firefox cause it isn't working on Chrome Also I want to read the accardi obessions series

I have quicken and every time I can successfully log onto the Bank of America website, but once I click a link the browser returns to the login page. I do not have this trouble with any other browser. Thanks, Mike

I clicked the Facebook homepage shortcut instead of using my regular bookmark. The page eventually loaded to the login screen, which then led to a Captcha verification screen, and another, and another, etc., until I got back to the login. Whew! Okay. No, not okay, it prompted me to get a verification code by email. I entered the code to log in. It started again. Then again. Cleared cache, etc, restarted browser, all the usual, didn't help. I had to leave for work.

When I got home, I restarted my computer and reset the modem. I removed the homepage shortcuts. Used my regular Facebook bookmark and logged in. Why did this happen? I am now terrified of the Homepage Shortcuts! 🤡💀

Since before and after my recent updates on my Macbook Air, Firefox has become virtually unusable. Facebook has slowed to a standstill, X videos won't load and now after this latest update to ios Tahoe 26.5.1 some of my passwords to my sites no longer work either. My Safari browser works fine. Is this to do with permissions? I need a solution quickly or I will sadly have to stop using Firefox.

Hello. I get this screen quite often in response to a search, mainly from a Google search. It started about a month ago. I have deleted must of the junk that Firefox accumulates, as well as refreshed Firefox. This is running on Windows 11.

Using firefox browser for facebook, with latest update, can no longer see any notifications. The number of notificationns are show, but when I click. there are none. Can see on my iphone.

Whilst using default firefox browser on my mobile, I am now being constantly referred to the 'about blank' URL page and effectively unable to access browser pages - Eg; social media Facebook etc, or age confirmation..

The website in question loads great on other browsers and on a new profile. I have attatched images of the website open on original and new profiles. On new profile i didn't change any settings. Things i have tried: 1. disable all extensions 2. disable strict security settings in firefox 3. reset all windows 11 internet settings 4. reset firefox through about:profiles > Restart with addons disabled > Refresh Firefox 5. just to check i tried to copy all the original profile settings on to the new profile, and the website still opens fine, with all the same wxtensions enabled too.

This has only started happening recently. I use that site for publishing articles, it is based on OJS. What more can i try?
