I have been having a problem the last 2 weeks. When ob certain pages my browser will suddenly jump to the top, or near the top, of the page. I have mostly noticed it on Walmart when i try to click on the add button or if i remove an item from my cart. It happens on a few other places like Barns and Nobles . Anyone else having this problem? Cant be sure but i first noticed it after one of the last updates. I have tried running my browser in safe mode and disabled all extensions and add-ons but still does the same thing. click and and page jumps to top. click on an item to look at it and the page goes all the way to the bottom.

It's not displayed correctly in some places and there are probably other sites. I wouldn't want to add these sites manually, because personally I don't see any point in it for myself. I really hope that Mozilla has provided the ability to completely disable this function using standard tools (settings or about:config), without installing any extensions.

I have used Firefox as browser for years. Yesterday, my default search engine in FF was changed to Bing. The settings in FF clearly show my seach engine is duck duck. I cannot open duck duck, because bing will not go away! I tried chatgpt. It gave me three good suggestions and walked me through it, but no success. the AI says its some sort of embedding in an add on or extension. This is well beyond my computer ability. Can you suggest any way out of this? Bing is simply awful!!
