When viewing pdf files created from MS Word (.docx) documents and sent to me I see white lines across some images but not all. This happens with Firefox on Windows 11 and linux mint (various versions). It is present on the images from the file as received and after uploading to a website. The images are OK if viewed using Opera or other browsers but the same problem is present on Thunderbird. My current version of Firefox is 151.0.4 (64-bit) & for the past 2 weeks or so every time I use the search bar to google something it triggers one of those "We've detected unusual activity from your network" requiring a Captcha. At first I tried all of the typical stuff [antivirus, vpn, extensions, etc...] to make sure that wasn't the issue. But as of yesterday & confirmed today I can actually go to Google's website first & do the search from there with no issue & no captcha.

So, whatever the issue is has to do specifically with doing the search via the search bar... for some reason. Is this a bug in the browser, or is there perhaps some setting that could cause this to happen in the about:config page? Though, I doubt a setting could be it because I've changed the settings I've changed now for years without causing this issue.

I want to see all my open tabs all of the time... firefox keeps showing full screen, I don't want that... how do I reset settings using windows 11, logi keyboard HELP!

Das VPN lässt sich in der neusten Version optisch zwar aktivieren, scheint aber nicht zu funktionieren. Die 50GB bleiben ständig erhalten und reduzieren sich nicht , trotz durch Test´s mit erhöhtem Datenvolumen. Auch erreichen mich bei aktivierten VPN wieder vermehrt SPAM und Ähnliches.

On Chrome, if you have multiple profiles open on a Windows 11 PC, they each show up on the taskbar as separate things with the Chrome logo. Meanwhile, with Firefox, separate profiles open windows on the same taskbar icon and simply switch the profile icon. The picture gives an example of what I mean. I've censored some stuff on it, but know that the stuff in white is in one profile while the other has the stuff in black. The gray is unrelated stuff. Claude says Chrome does this by giving each profile a separate AppUserModelID, whatever that is. Is it possible to do the same in Firefox?

Hello, I am using mozilla built in VPN but I have an issue as for some sites my internet download manager can't download videos while it can when I use my other VPN app.

My FF Browser introduced a vertical row of rings which I want to get rid off. Im using W10 and FF Version 151.0.4 (64-Bit). Rings are stable, updates show them again. Any Help???

I CANNOT log into my Facebook account since Firefox launched your VPN. I didn't sign UP for the VPN but I'm troubleshooting and the VPN launch happened at the same time I was denied access to Facebook. Can you FIX this problem????? It is infuriating!!!! I can SEE the page and friends can SEE the page which means it hasn't be LOCKED or deleted. I just can't access my own page - not with my phone # or email. As of a few updates ago, Firefox keeps adding items to the drop down menu in the address box. It used to have all the sites I went to to check out headlines, but it started adding things I hardly ever use. For instance I went ONE TIME to the "no calls" registry to register my phone number, and for a month that was in that drop down menu. Another, I have a number of tabs that are always open, like the weather and local radar, etc. A number of them are now in my drop down menu. So, somehow Firefox decides to drop items that I go to EVERY DAY, and put in other things it likes, like the no-call phone registry link. I would like a setting that doesn't allow it to decide this. Or the ability to delete items it adds and say that I don't want these things in that menu. It's fine that it keeps all the items I go to every day, but stop dropping them to add the links to tabs that are ALREADY open in my browser.

I sell on vinted, which generates a PDF label to print. Some of the courier sites add a lot of nonsense text to their labels, which I cover up with a white box to save ink. These edited PDFs used to then print just the label without the nonsense text, but since a recent Firefox update they have started printing an empty page instead. Saving the edited PDF and then opening it again in Firefox does not work. The edited labels still print okay in Microsoft Edge.

Since this morning, I haven't been able to access Bsky on my laptop because of a supposed HSTS risk, which means I can't add an exception to visit it. I use Firefox on my Android and going to the mobile version of the website lets me in no problem, so I assume there's an issue with my laptop.

I'd usually wait a few days and let it solve itself but just in case it's something on my end, I'd like to solve it! I'm on 151.0.4 (64-bit), don't use a VPN or an anti-virus, I have a couple of privacy add-ons but they've been here forever and they've never caused a fuss. I can post a screenshot of the error code and the certificate it sends me if it's any help.

I've been reading about how Firefox is starting to include Google Gemini (along with other AI models like Claude and ChatGPT) into the browser sidebar and experiment with AI features.

To be honest, this feels a bit odd to me. Mozilla has always positioned itself as the independent, privacy-first champion of the open web, while Google is a data-driven tech giant. Isn't integrating Gemini a bit of a contradiction or a conflict of interest for Firefox's privacy mission?

I know Google pays Mozilla to be the default search engine, but does this AI integration mean Firefox is giving up ground on its core privacy values, or is there a different strategy at play here regarding user choice and local/on-device AI?

Would love to get the community's thoughts on how Mozilla balances this partnership without compromising its mission. Thanks!

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

when the Firefox install asks for a password, which password are they referring to?

Also, instructions say to use "sudo" in Terminal - how does one get to that ?
