How can i figure out in a browser whether the back button or a forward button is used??
I have checked in the history of a mozilla database to find whether the usage of a back button or a forward button can be found .where can i find them?? They are not getting stored in the sqlite database..Please help!!

I think you're right. The moz_historyvisits table does not seem to have any new entries created if the user goes back or forward without a manual page reload. I haven't checked pages that force a reload, i.e., pages that are no-store, but it's possible that the same principle applies even in that case.
Why do you need back/forward data?
am working on my project to visualize the history of a browser.I need this back and forward button information to proceed further.
You might be able to capture the missing data in real time, as you browse, using an add-on; maybe a kind of developer tool? I haven't searched for one to see whether it exists.
i have one more question:
I have seen the sessionstore.js file. It has the tabs and windows information in it.the information is very unclear.Is that data in js is similar to places.sqlite.When i see the id number in js file it is not matching with any of the table in the moz_historyvisits or moz_places..am confused ..can you help me?/
