Why when I open Firefox I get go.mennythanks.com?
This started last week. I can't get the normal firefox page when I open it. This keeps opening.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller (for more info, see this alternate TDSSKiller download page)
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista if you don't already have one. Windows 8/10 have antivirus protection built-in.

In addition to the above :
Go to the 3-bar menu (or 'Tools') => Addons => Extensions and look for any unfamiliar or suspicious looking extensions.
When you find any : remove them.
Do the same in your system's Control Panel.
However : most malware will be 'hiding' somewhere , and that's why you need to run the malware scans, as advised by Mkll.
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. They all work differently - what one program doesn't pick up, the other might.
